If you’re traveling without children, or you’ve found something else to occupy your kids, then you should consider a tour of the historic Brick Brewery. While the brewery itself was founded in 1984, the building itself dates all the way back to 1839! Here is a list of beers that are waiting for you to try them at the Brick Brewery:
- Red Baron
- Waterloo Dark
- Red Cap
- Bambay
- Conners
- For Mosa
The most exciting feature of the brewery is probably the Red Baron Lounge. This lunge offers the absolute freshest beer in town (that’s not a marketing slogan either). Of course, it is awfully difficult to offer fresher beer than a pub inside a brewery!
For those interested in touring, the hours for that are Saturdays, 12pm to3pm. The tour will generally last about thirty minutes. The cost is the best feature of this tour, as it will only set you back a meager $2! Features of this tour include a tasting of all 15 beers, an overview of Ontario Craft Brewing, education on the types of beer you’ll be drinking, and the history of the Brick Brewing Company. That is definitely the best two dollars you will ever spend!
If you have a group of 25 individuals or less, then you should consider the Brick Night In. Costing only $250, you and your friends will be treated to a unique and traditional pub setting, service from attractive, humorous staff members, a sampling schedule of beers, and an unforgettable night at the bar (well, potentially forgettable depending on how much you drink!). If you wish to book a night at the pub, calll the Red Baron Lounge at 519-576-9100 ext. 249.
The Brick Brewing Company is located at 181 King Street South. Their phone number is 519-576-9100. Finally, their website, which includes company information and maps to guide you there, is /www.brickbrewery.com
